Scott’s Birthday Jam Session #6

In 1990, we were lucky enough to welcome violinist Dave LaFlamme to our jam session. He has played with many symphony orchestras and is best known for leading It’s A Beautiful Day, having a hit with “White Bird.” Here he is, joining a group that includes trumpeter Art Troncozo, trombonist Jon Nelson, me on tenor, pianist Al Cresswell, guitarist Dave Alessandri, bassist Scott Seay and drummer Brion Tajiri. After a few of us get solos on “Blue Room,” the song completely falls apart in colorful fashion so I give it a tag.
